The Busy Trader was founded by Heather Lindsey. She is a speaker, author and entrepreneur. She started The Busy Trader for people who are too busy to trade. She wanted to simplify trading to show people that you can make money from the stock market.

I'm an adult but I want to learn at the kids' level. Can I join?
Yes! You're welcome to sign up too! This course is for adults as well who want to learn simplified strategies to trade in the stock market.
Are there any refunds?
Please note that this course, in addition to any of the resources on our Resources page, are non-refundable.
Can I set up a brokerage account for my child?
For U.S. residents: TD Amertirade was bought out by Charles Schwab. During that transition, they took away the option to create a custodial account (kids accounts) from options trading which may just be temporary. You will set up an individual account in your information as the adult and then transfer it over to a custodial account when you’re ready. If you currently have an existing child custodial account, you’re not affected by this. This information also applies to international residents using a brokerage outside of the U.S. Depending on your brokerage you can set up the custodial account, or set up an individual account in your information as the adult and then transfer over to a custodial account when you're ready. You'll use www.tradingview.com to chart the stock.
Can my child use their iPad for the course?
Your child will need to have an access to a laptop or desktop computer for the course, as use of an iPad will not work.
Do you have an online kids chat community?
Yes! Click on our Resources page to sign up for chat and join the chat rooms for The Busy Trader Kids! (or click here). (Please note: There will not be a separate Discord account for your child, but one account that you can provide guided access for your child to log in under your account. A separate account is not needed, as you would incur a second monthly subscription fee).
Can I book a 1:1 call with you?
Heather offers private 1:1 coaching, along with a few other hand-picked highly skilled coaches. There are 30-minute, 1-hour, 2-week bootcamp, and 30-day bootcamp options available. To book with one of Heather's coaches, you'll find the booking link in your membership portal. You can book 30-minute or 1-hour coaching with Heather in the Resources page of our website. If looking for 2-week or 30-day bootcamp with Heather, slip us an email at info@thebusytraders.com. In order to book bootcamp, you must have taken the Level 1 course or have at least 2 years trading experience. During coaching, Heather or the coaches will help you refine your trading strategy, identify blind spots, offer feedback on your trades, or help get you set up with trading. There's coaching for all levels! If opting for coaching for your child, we recommend a parent be available.
How much money do I need to start trading?
You can start with $500 or more. However, you will begin with paper trading (practice trading) until you are ready to start live trading.
